I've been on active duty for the last 12 years, brain donor. There's not a single person in the active military who wears that uniform.

1. I don't have to show West Pointers one iota of respect by virtue of where they went to school alone. What they've done after graduating is a different story.

2. A&M had over 20,000 officers serving in WWII, including George Moore (commander during the Correigador (sic) campaign) and Earl Rudder (Commander of the Rangers during the Normandy Invasion). That was more than any other school, including USMA.

It's almost a forgone conclusion the Aggie Dance Team is going to be on the sidelines anyway.

they have the same cut in their hair (probably slightly longer) and don't have the upperclassman brass on their belt buckle.

I'd be willing to bet she's got something they DON'T have.

I'd like to know your definition of "almost." The administration has made zero moves regarding this.

I know CGSC already beat me to it, but allow me to echo his sentiments--the unis worn at the USMA are NOT worn on active duty in any capacity. And Texas A&M produced more military officers in WWII than West Point and Annapolis combined.

quote:

I can tell by most of you alls posts there is a slight jealousy of the real military men and women of West Point.

Nope, not one iota of jealousy here--I can actually function in an active duty world dealing with military and civilian personnel (something academy kids have a hard time with having been in a military bubble for four years). In fact, I turned down an opportunity to go to the Air Force Academy because I preferred the training environment at A&M. Have not regretted it.

quote:

I suppose aTm students are the ones who couldn't qualify to get in to Texas, and too scared to try to get in @ West Point.

Again, ain't no one scared of West Point. I respect 'em when they're on active duty, but until they commission they're basically the same as a contract cadet at a senior military college.

Oh, and frick texas--pretty much every student that went to A&M could have qualified to get into texas. You're retarded.

Perry is a former Corps member. I bet he learned his way of handling that corn dog while in the Corps.
