The whole "Bama had their chance" argument is funny..

and ridiculous.
I didn't realize the 1st game we played was for a national championship.. which is weird that they would put it on our regular schedule and basically in the middle of a football season...
Bama and LSU or any other team in the SECw usually play for... well.. the SECw. LSU won that. And they got to play in Atlanta and they won the SECCG, kudos.
Bama is playing for the BCSC which isn't played until Jan 9th. When Bama lost they got pushed down the rankings and every single team before them and behind them crapped on their chance.
This isn't really a "rematch" at all. The 1st game wasn't a championship game.. it was just a game. All Bama did was win the next few games and they found themselves in a position to play for the title. Now, we have our chance!

Yes, it is a rematch. You played them once this season, now you're playing them again. That's how rematches work

Let's be real.
If this was the other way around, and LSU was getting a second chance, the sides would be completely reversed.

lets be real.. If the roles were reversed, LSU would not have gotten a rematch. Alabama would have made sure of that. Im sure Little Nicky would have voted us 4th or 5th to make sure we didnt play them again.

Of course you say that, you're an Alabama fan. You want to lobby for your team. This is what is the worse thing about Alabama getting a rematch.....the first game meant absolutely nothing. Why even play it?

I agree with you here, not Bama's fault. If Okie St, Oregon, Stanford and Boise take care of their business, Bama is not in the picture.

If y'all recall the conversation before the game was could they play again..? It was LSU's body of work that had everyone convinced that LSU could still end up in the title game... Most on here concurred. I thought that if we be y'all in ttown that there was a good chance we would see you again.. I wasn't against it. I definitely don't think you would see anywhere near the butthurt from Bama fans.

i think your "argument" is even funnier. and even more ridiculous. y'all played us and y'all lost. fini. LSU DESERVES to move on and play someone else for the title. OSU got hosed. BUT, it is what it is. If LSU wins, many will lament the fact that OSU didn't get their shot; if bama wins, many will not accept your title. you see, it has nothing to do with fans being "skeered" as some of your brethren have stated. it's about getting a do-over. simple.

Quit trying to defend bama making the BCSNCG. The mere fact that you feel you should make a post defending bama getting a rematch shows you have insecurities.

What is actually funny is Bama fans tryin to convince other people that they deserv to be there over a 1 loss conference champion with a better resume. And college football has a playoff. It's called November. Just admit Bama is lucky to be in the game. Never in all my 30 years of football have i seen the "BETTER LOSS " arguement carry so much weight.
