Regardless of fair/not fair, if you would have given me the option on September 2nd that LSU would be in the NC game, I would have taken it no questions asked. The fact that we can clinch against another SEC team will only make it sweeter.

If the roles were reversed it would have been less likely that LSU would be in the BCSNC game.

See my first post. I was literally laughing when the pundits kept saying "Ok. St. had their chance and blew it!"
I'd like to know when Alabama's chance didn't happen.

LMAO you don't think Bama fans think they are lucky to be in this position? We were like Lloyd Christmas "So there's a chance" Hell yeah! there's a lot that had to go right/wrong for Bama to be here.. I definitely feel lucky. It's like an oil man being mad at a guy for getting his millions by winning the lottery.. the money still spends dude!

really???? every media outlet, preseason mag, talking head, etc.. since the end of last season, had been saying the winner of lsu/bama will win the west, win the SEC, and likely win the NC.

Also do Bama fans realize when they say," OSU HAD THEIR CHANCE AND LOST", so did Bama. Bama fans think they actually got in on their own merit. When in fact Bama got in because espn has a SEC contract and they pushed Bama for a month. It's crazy because if you say any of this to a Bama fan, all they say is,"OSU couldn't beat us, we know that". Just like everyone knew Bama would blow Utah out of the water. Just like everyone knew Miami would destroy Bama in 92. There is a reason games aren't played on paper.

yea...one WHOLE spot. I would grill you on your rematch comment but everybody else got to it first. Glad we get to play yall again it'll sure be a good one. I don't know if i can handle the intensity for a whole other month though, the two weeks leading up to the 11/5 game was bad enough!

My question for bama fans is what's gonna happen if yall lose? Are you still going to proclaim you're the second best team in the country? Are you going to say it's not fair that your only losses were to the national champs?
I'm not flaming, I have no idea what yalls mindset is here because I'm not in the situation. What will yalls thoughts/feelings be on your place this year if yall end up losing?

And to this day I'm amazed that LSU fans try to use the "you had your chance" argument to try to keep Alabama out of the title game. The idea that Alabama's loss was an automatic disqualifier from the BCS title because LSU was in the BCS title game was absurd. It was as if the other contenders like Oklahoma State could have lost to Prairie View as long as they didn't lose to the eventual #1 team. Conveniently, Alabama's loss was a "playoff" loss while the other teams losses didn't matter because they didn't "get their chance against LSU".
