YES, and on the East & West sides, too (minus press box area.)

Our board looks tiny.
Wish we went with this...

Our administration likes to oversell things from time to time.
Like when they say we have the best marketing department in the country. Not really. It's just a major improvement from what it used to be.

It's big enough, Bud Walton is about twice the size of the new Pavilion (& the Hump, too.)

If I remember correctly there was some fine print on that. Like, it's the largest college basketball LED TV. Or something.

Either Arkansas one-upped us right after we announced it or we have the largest display "system". Maybe the whole setup has more surface area or they are including the wrap-around video.

the largest centerhung video display system in terms of total square footage in college sports with a total of roughly 2,255 square feet of active LED display space

Fans will immediately notice a new center hung video board with four LED displays that will give Bud Walton Arena the largest video display of any basketball facility in the country.

Some our our led space is allotted to the ribbons above and below the board.
Where as Arkansas screens are clearly larger. And that's what they reference there
The wording is deceptive.. On purpose I would imagine.

I'm wondering how much more that would have cost than what we are doing with the north endzone
Posted on 11/12/15 at 7:35 pm to MoreLandshark
Probably a lot more. It was probably a "get a new basketball arena or do that with the Vaught" kind of expensive.

*BUMP*
I fully expect some pictures soon from people local to Oxford showing that damn North Endzone being torn down.

I say donate it to a few of the schools in the delta that could desperately use a upgrade.
