I just looked at the live cam, and that north endzone brick wall looks reallllly close to where the back of the endzone will be. That's got to be a safety risk.

They will put up padding like at all stadiums.

Got it. So concrete, brick, and a 2" pad at what looks to be a very short distance from the back of the endzone. I'd have no fear diving right into it.

I wonder if anything else will be done to that overhang with the speakers. Looks kind of weird right now.

Also can we pressure wash the brick? All I see are vertical streaks of water residue from the past two years all over the brick. Looks like shite.

Several stadiums have those overhangs and they look exactly the same.

Unpopular opinion here:

DWS is better than VHS. And it's not close.

I don't see how you could draw that conclusion. They have a decent new endzone, other than that, the stadium is garbage.

Can't believe it but we are finally utilizing a standard wordmark for Ole Miss and Rebels, like everyone else in the country. Same endzone font we saw in Sugar Bowl and at the game on Monday.

Would prefer blue background in the endzones

Same this was one of the reasons I always thought that the turf looked better than the grass before, and I'd hoped we'd bring it over when we went back to grass.

Ross said that's the plan. They are waiting to let the grass grow more before they paint it navy. May be next week.
