That thing is huge. I remember thinking how massive it was when we installed the first one and this is considerably larger. I think we'll be surprised at how much bigger it'll look. Anyone have a measurement comparison?

BEFORE

(the new one goes all the way to the edges and up to the top of the green Bancorp South sign)

AFTER

Now that you mention that, seems I asked before & that was the answer.

Good for all 3.

Yeah, makes sense. Everyone gets an upgrade at the expense of 1, which brings in plenty. I'm sure most schools do the same with each football update. Our south endzone boards are gonna be sweet. I ride by the stadium a couple of times a week after work. Today they had installed some speakers on the south endzone boards and we're doing something to the back of them. I still think the most aesthetically pleasing thing I have seen besides the actual new endzone is the painting of the west side boxes to match the color of the rest of the stadium. People who haven't seen it will notice it in a big way. Having that huge grey structure that matched nothing was a big time eye sore.

I would think most fans will look to the north end zone.

They will, but the regulars will certainly notice the change on the west side boxes from the outside. There have been a lot of changes this offseason, but to me, that is one of the simplest, yet best changes. Obviously, the bowling of the north zone will get the most notice, and second will be the two south endzone boards probably. All of that stands out a little more, which is exactly the point of painting the west side boxes, to keep them from standing out.

do you have a before and after pic?

never recognized the two tone nature of the stadium.
Im sure the overall aesthetic and sensation of the game will be taken to a new level. with the visual, sound, and natural turf upgrades.

I don't. I'm sure there are some out there. It's just what I've seen in person, and I'm not into pics and stuff. Just something that I know will look good to the rest of the world

I'll see if I can get some pictures after class tomorrow of the west side boxes as I've looked and I can't seem to see any of the exterior to the west side of the stadium.

Video boards are one. Place is going to be bright when the lights are on too.

If I'm being completely honest with myself, the bottom picture still looks really really crappy.

I think it would be fun if they showed movies on the big screen and let people come in and watch, on spring or summer nights.
