What's going on to the right of the video board? Looks like two poles are going up on the top of the stands area.

Supposedly it has to do with the new speaker system... not sure if they'll be mounted there or what

I'm crossing my fingers. Surely they won't be mounting anything on those things, that might look weird.

Rode by after work and it looked like they had some some more work to the Jumbotron, maybe added some of the screen or something. Also, it's hard to tell from the road due to trees and Starnes, but they had also started to work on the outside of the bowl. I'm sure there are pics of the updates somewhere, But I obviously don't have them

So maybe those are supports for a awning to keep students from harassing the Bama fans when they start leaving early?
Or maybe from falling out of the stadium while taunting the bama fans.
Just a thought.
If it is going to be an awning please put it on the other side also. If not it will look ridiculous only on one side.
