I didn't hear anything about the family being concerned about it. What I heard was that LSU was in a stronger position because they told him he could play QB. Now I know for a fact that the biggest concern is him taking too many hit before heading to the NFL. So they don't wonat him rushing 20-30 times a game like Eddie Lacy.....

Walker Little is committing wed. Do we have any good news to look forward to?

Both of LSU's QB commits in this class have decomitted, if they land Akers then play him as a QB I might literally explode. Best looking RB recruit out of Mississippi since Marcus Dupree and we pick this year to shite the bed in every conceivable way.

I think Myles is a great player, but do we need him? We have 2 QBs in this class and 2 on campus, assuming Pellerin stays.

This looks like it will be a smaller class. Has there been any guesses on how many spots we have left?

Rumor is Pellerin is staying, but won't be playing qb. Apparently he's moving to TE or MLB in the spring.

Myles Brennan is tall intelligent and set all sorts of record for MS at QB
We want him and if that means we take 2 4 year qbs and a Juco great.

If we have to lose a commit fine.
We only have 2 qbs on the current roster

Hopefully Judd is hired to a recruiting position because being a "chip off of the Bobby Hall coaching tree", he isn't exactly an X's & O's guy like Brad Peterson. Now Clinton's OC, Pennick, is a solid coach with a good/great X's & O's mind.

This is bullshite, MS has had multiple better looking RB recruits. He's great but you haven't watched much MS football, or at least not for long, if he's the best you've seen.

That being said, he does have a huge upside, can't teach that kind of speed.

Doesn't matter because he isn't going to Ole Miss.

He's not pulling that Dupre shite out of his arse. That is what people who have covered MS football much closer and much longer than you and I, one being Rick Cleveland, have been saying. And perhaps you are harping too much on the RB aspect of it. He's regarded as perhaps the greatest HS player ever in MS. I didnt watch the greats like Rice, Sweetness, or Dupre in HS but they have and thats their opinion that we are just relaying. Dontae Walker is in that list as well. We all know he wasnt great as a college player and certainly didnt make the league, but in HS, there were few who were more dominant and thats what they are saying about Cam.

I mean regardless, I think people underestimate how many freakish backs have played HS ball in this state. It's easy to forget that recruiting services have only been around for about 15 years and they have only been somewhat thorough for about 10.

But just over the last 20 you've had, Robert Elliot, Jerious Norwood, Akers, Deuce, Dontae Walker, Jimmy Johns, and Dixon off the top of my head. And these are just primarily the guys I remember watching some of, so they are mostly just the ones recruited and/or signed by state. Specifically Norwood is the best back I've ever personally seen, albeit only tape of his HS ball, a few years earlier or later and he would have destroyed everything, unfortunately his college career was swallowed up by the late Sherril years.

The sad thing is how many of those were busts. Only 3 of them have made any sort of career in the league and only 2 ever got meaningful snaps.

*Left off the law firm and mccluster just because I haven't actually seen high school film of them and don't really remember where they were from.

That isnt the point people are making. When they say Akers may be the greatest ever, they arent projecting him to the league, but based on what he has done in HS. That is what all those comments relate to. Norwood was the best I ever saw in HS and Cam had 5K more total career yards playing the same wild cat position in the same classification. Your bias is showing if you think Norwood had a better HS career than Cam, which is once again, all that is being talked about.
