Poor guy, he must be a terrible lay. Lots of "I feel gross" excuses in there. A good lover turns that feeling 180 degrees around.

Sometimes women just don't feel confident with themselves.

It's not always the man's fault.

It was detailed in the OT thread, she gained weight and is taking it out on him.

Just another example of why marriage is fricking terrible.

Disappoint. Was assuming some kind of kinky internet/phone/anonymous forum thing.

Ummmmmmmm why is your friend still married. That's grounds for divorce and 100% of marital assets.

You must be very young, or inexperienced.

Skype is useful when we're not together though. Like I said, gotta tend the garden.

I'm young as well but I've seen it before. I'm glad you mentioned that she had been gaining weight -- usually this is a sign of a lack of confidence and self-loathing when the sex all but stops.

Stacked's response to Honey:
Honey, you cook for me each night, I'll take care of my own shite. It's not exactly a fair trade but Stacked likes to eat and I'm better at fricking myself than you anyway. Occasionally I'll have sex at you while you're in bed with me if we're cool with this arrangement.

I didn't mean that young, hell I'm 27.

He's bringing that highschool "I fingerbanged a girl in my car so hard she screamed" logic to the table.

A woman's self-image is a huge player in her libido. The sooner as a guy you figure that out, the better off you are.

For real though if a girl kept a list like this on me I'd break up with her. For a lot of reasons but mostly because it's annoying and a poor substitute for acting like a grown up and talking about it.

If you turned a girl down for sex for any of those reasons she'd leave you.

Yeah, no, I was talking about if she kept lists in general. Not necessarily about sex but with anything she asked me to do.

Yeah, the guy is a passive agressive vag and the woman refuses to take responsibility for anything. This is one of those things where both people suck.

That's just shitty on her account. I've been in relationships where I've gained weight, had scars from surgery, etc. It's never resulted in me saying no that often. Even when my endometriosis was at it's worst and I was in physical pain I don't think I said no that often.

That just makes her a shitty wife. Or asking to be fricked around on.

Eh. More like you can't maintain a sexual relationship with someone with consistency and then essentially cut them off (for non health reasons) and expect a positive result. That doesn't mean marriage is shitty. It means at least one of the people engaging in it is.

I agree with just about everything you said, but I think this;

quote:

Even when my endometriosis was at it's worst and I was in physical pain I don't think I said no that often.

gives you a rare point of view. In my experience, endometriosis makes women actually appreciate sex, and how much it means to a relationship, much more.
And my comments on marriage are more directed towards the current state of it, not the idea itself. These two immature little assholes shouldn't have tied the knot without knowing who each other were.

Fair enough. And I can agree on your last sentence. A little communication could've gone a long way to solving their issue before this point.

I've been really lucky to be with someone who is understanding of the situation too because it's not always that you don't want to it's that you physically can't handle the pain from it. He deserves as much credit as I do for toughing it out so to speak and my case was mild in comparison to other women I know.

I guess I just don't get completely shutting down like that towards someone you want to be with (I'm obviously making the assumption that she wants to be with him). Without being too graphic, you don't have to have just intercourse to be intimate.
