I found only the locals liked it. I thought it was terrible.
Yeah I think that's more the case recently. When I was in school in the 90's the Tuscaloosa food scene wasn't that diverse and the one on 15th St was always packed with sorority girls.
I do know several people not from Tuscaloosa that agree with you that it's terrible though.

Taco Casa blows dick. Only townies can stomach that dog food.

So now bitching = talking about bad restaurants in a thread about bad restaurants.
Seems like your bitching that no one else likes your garbage sandwich shop.

There's a sushi place here in Corinth called Geisha.
It's fricking awful. The absolute worst. The sushi is rubbery, the service is horrible and we got green tea ice cream that overpriced, frostbit and served to us in plastic cups with plastic spoons. fricking terrible.
I can't think of a time I've been more disappointed.

I enjoy MG's, but I can see how someone wouldnt like it.
They have great ice for their drinks, and a decent beer selection though, so those are pluses.
Gnarcat21 used to live in those apartments behind MG's as well.

So I cant talk about a shitty restaurant in a thread about shitty restaurants. Got it.
You are really reaching here, ace.

Oh, I didnt realize they had good ice. In that case, I take back everything I said about it sucking. All a restaurant needs is good ice, and its good with me.

What keeps you from simply saying that you don't prefer the place, instead of trying to shite on it and making yourself look like a retard?
It's obviously pretty successful and popular so your opinion is just that.

The original? 2 story small apartment complez right behind? I knew many people who lived there. I was right down the street
No, it was a little farther back across the railroad tracks on the left going away from the stadium on Donahue. It was a two story building though. Probably 6 units or so.

Well this is a thread about shitty restaurant experiences and he was sharing his. Someone agreed with him and a conversation was struck between the two. Then, you and the Auburn folk got offended.
Now if he just randomly brings this place up in other threads, that's another thing entirely. But, here in this thread his bitching is warranted and any butthurt over it is not.

I think every college town probably has some places that get way overrated. I don't know if people still talk about Dreamland being good or not...but I remember being disappointed by that place.
I came here to post this exact thing and you beat me to it.
I haven't been to the one in T-town, but I've eaten at the Dreamland in B-ham several times (family choice) and it's always been bad.
Posted on 6/25/14 at 11:21 am to Feral
The original dreamland is decent. The chains are bad. The only thing I love about any of them is the sauce. I could drink that shite.
