If I could figure out how to screen capture and upload to photobucket, I would.

Yeah, I'm not sure if it has to do more with people getting off of work early because of the weather... or because of the weather itself.

CEO just came back from lunch and shut us down at 2, with a delayed opening tomorrow. Time to go sit in traffic.

Love having the four wheel drive truck today. The wife drove it like a main battle tank from work to the house today.

I only scheduled 3 jobs today. I was home when the first flake fell. I feel guilty, not.

In fact, I think it's hot cocoa time, topped with cool whip.

I do miss mine at times like this, and my old jeep.

Its nuts over by work near Bessemer. Tons of stranded cars, tons of idiots trying to drive up hills.

Drive home is going to be a bitch. My dad left work 2 hours ago and he is still stuck in traffic. He has 4wd but everyone in front of him doesn't.

Up until 9 this morning they claimed the snow would be south of Shelby Co and so. Metro Birmingham is a parking lot.

Dude, James Spann's weather blog update at 10:05 am (as snow was falling) still had nothing happening for our area.

Now that is just stupid.

It took me an our and a half to get from downtown to Gardendale. That was coming up 31. I had to take side streets coming through N Bham or I would still be there.

This is their fault. School systems/workplaces close based on what the weather people say. When it was coming down heavy at 10 am and the high today is in the 20s... doesn't it make sense that it's going to be a bit more than a "dusting"?
