The other good workers will feel like they need to find a better place to work if they see neck tat is being rewarded.

I don't have any, but I like them. A tattoo won't stop me from hiring anyone unless it's something like "Murder" writen across the neck.

If my employee ever got a tattoo and i found out about it, I would fire him on the spot and laugh as his family starved.

A swastika on their forehead might make me stop and think for a second too.

I have three tattoos. All easily concealed with long sleeve shirts.

People have too much of a stigma on tattoos. Who gives a frick? If you don't like them, ignore them. They aren't on your body.

People who get face and hand tattoos are retards though. They can do as they please, but still retarded.

1. Beautiful when done right. Trashy when done wrong.

2. Yes. One on my left upper chest. Military related.

3. As long as you can't see them in uniform/ business clothes.

Mine, for the sake of full disclosure:

Don't like them, but whatever floats your boat.

One. I don't want it anymore and I'll have it removed eventually. I was a dumb drunk 18 year old in the Army when I got it. It's also very easily covered.

Depends on the position they're applying for and where the tattoos are visible.

Some can be pretty awesome or pretty hot. Most seem to suck though.

No

Depends on the tattoo, no visible tattoos wouldn't be a requirement though.

ETA: also depends on the position, dealing with customers/clients or working in the back etc.

Mostly trashy. I don't hate the small meaningful ones though.

Depends on the job. I work for the state and we aren't allowed visible tats.

If I think of a creative design or something I really like, I would probably get a tattoo. Just haven't come across anything that I really want to spend money to put on my body.

Too much is too much.

Yes. I have two small ones, on each shoulder, both could be covered by a silver dollar. Both are sort of meaningful, but discreet. Nobody knows I have them until I have my shirt off.

It depends on the job and the location of the tattoos. I'd hire you to cut my lawn with tattoos all over your body. I wouldn't hire a secretary with visible tattoos.

In general, I don't like them.

I think that they tend to look like blemishes rather than art and take away from the beauty of the human body rather than add to it.

Plus I know a lot of people get tattoos on a whim or get a specific tattoo because they think it is cool or they like the concept, but people change over time, so I think it is silly to get a permanent mark on your body that reflects what you thought or how you felt at a specific moment in time. I liken it to a bumper sticker or a grade school doodle that people have permanently imprinted onto their skin.

I also don't like making long-term decisions based on short-term feelings, so tattoos don't appeal to me.

This is a broad brush, I know, and a lot of people don't get tattoos on a whim, but I think a lot of people do it these days because it's the thing to do.

Army Air Crew wings. I'm a controller.

It was too small to get all the little details in there, so they almost look like pilot wings.

No, it's not a tramp stamp. It's on my shoulder. Which might be worse.
