It may not be your thing, but not all tattoos are "disgusting".

Can't stand it when I see people with sleeves that have no business rocking the sleeve.

Also, such a shame when some girls get them.

Tattoos are a weird thing.

On some people they look great, and it's natural, like they were born with them.

On others they look very bad.

What is your opinion on them?

Depends on the tattoo in question.

Do you have any?

Yes, I have 3. I have not one, but TWO, tramp stamps. And they're fricking awesome.

Would you hire someone with visible tattoos?

Depends on the job.

I'm actually surprised by the responses in this thread....
Tattoos today are more socially acceptable than ever, now granted facial tattoos are still seen as trashy.
Several doctors, lawyers, officers, and politicians port a tattoo from a misspent youth and several people I know have tattoos just not visible with every day wear.

I have some friends who have them. I never got one because I knew I would regret it later.

I know a guy that has a Polo man on his chest where the Polo man would be on his shirt. Yes, he was really drunk.

Not my cup o tea.

See above.

Yes. But location-dependent. None above the neck or below the elbow.

I had a couple of friends get one in the bikini area. I told them that four leaf clover/dolphin is going to look nice when you decide to have kids one day.

People have too much of a stigma on tattoos. Who gives a frick? If you don't like them, ignore them. They aren't on your body. People who get face and hand tattoos are retards though. They can do as they please, but still retarded.

All of this.

And I don't get the sleeve hate, don't most professional/business professions require commensurate clothing?

I want a half sleeve, but want it to come off before I'm 50.

All of mine are hidden if I wear long sleeves and pants. Tbh idgaf what anybody thinks of mine. They all have a meaning to me and that's all that matters as far as I'm concerned.

That may help you in attracting girls who aren't the goody two shoes variety.

ETA: I'm not trying to come across mean girls by saying that.

Exactly. I understand a dislike for hand, face, neck tattoos because they can't be covered up with regular clothing. I see people with (what I think) are shitty tattoos all the time, but that wouldn't make me think twice about hiring them if they are qualified for the job. Just doesn't make sense to me to avoid someone because of a tattoo.

Good for you bro. Even if they didn't mean a thing, they're still yours and shouldn't concern anyone else.

Same here.

One on my inner bicep of right arm, and the other two combined on my upper back...stretching from scapula to scapula.
