22 minutes HIIT on elliptical on highest resistance and elevation and 8 min in the sauna at around 190F. Down to 231. I have been plagued by holiday weekends and weddings but after last weekend at the lake, I decided to cut back on the drinking considerably. Will be back at the lake this weekend but going to take it easy on the booze and food. The Makers got me good last Saturday.

Have lost about 26 pounds from my heaviest. I know the first few weeks the weight was dropping fast as it was mostly water and bloating but I am determined to get down to my goal. It may not be by Sept as planned but I will give it hell.

Also, your goal time should only be a motivator. Don't let falling behind schedule discourage you. Just get after it going forward.

Thanks for the Cheers guys!

Only reason I set that as a date is the fact that my wife and I are going to Mexico for our 5 year anniversary. Using the date as a goal I can shoot for. If I'm not there by then, I will just keep working hard and set another. Goal weight is 195-200. I still have a long way to go but I feel really good.

I was struggling horribly with Plantar Fasciitis in both feet and doc told me I needed surgery on both. I told him I would lose 50-60 pounds and see how I felt. Hearing I needed surgery at 31 years old for something like that was a wakeup call. Almost half way to 60 and the pain is not near as bad as it once was.

for your pre workout stimulant, check out bulletproof coffee.

basically you get the caffeine boost plus the brain fuel healthy fat provides.

it's essentially coffee mixed with coconut oil and ghee butter

eta it's been my go to pre workout stim for awhile now

been good man. just got through competing in my first physique competition. was a natural competition up in northwest arkansas

took a week off and just started prep yesterday for my next competition July 30th in little rock. it's the mr arkansas bodybuilding event that's been around for a long time. then my next conpetition is sept. 24th at another event in little rock put on by the npc. neither is a natural competition so I'm probably putting myself at a disadvantage to the other guys, but we'll see how it goes.

I need some feedback on my PPL program. Let me know if y'all think it should be altered in some way. I don't mind working out 6 days though. I actually miss the gym when I don't work out.

Any suggestions as to whether I should join a crossfit gym or not?

$80+ per month which I'm not too excited about, but wanted to try something else out for a bit. Various workout routines over the past few years have grown stale.
