With the overhand curls(I have also heard them called reverse curls, too many names ) do you feel much from it?? I know it mainly targets your brachialis, but I still don't feel it much when I try them.

I do feel it working. I don't wrap my thumb around the bar but I keep it on top with my fingers and I keep my elbows tucked in close to my side. This small change makes a big difference on this exercise.

Today is chest/tri day. What about you? Do you have a knee or foot injury?

Cool, I will have to give it a try sometime.

Yep, I broke my tibia and fibula both a few months back. No lower body workouts at all right now.

Graduated last Saturday so I had to actually join a gym yesterday ha. Random question. Does anyone have a good pandora station to listen to while they lift?

I run to Jesus culture in Pandora

But you probably want something "angrier" to lift to

He is not going to gain a bunch of mass from lifting heavy while in a calorie deficit and doing cardio.

I feel you. I dropped TexAgs and rewarded myself with Spotify to take its place.

I'm a little ashamed but "kid rock radio" was amazing yesterday on the treadmill. Lots of G&R and lynyrd skynyrd mixed in with "only gods knows why" and "you never met a MF'er quite like me"

CCR radio was good a few days ago as well

22 minutes of HIIT on the elliptical during lunch. Was decent of food intake over the weekend but no exercise and red wine/modelo especials made for two high calorie days. Sat in the sauna for about 12 minutes after the HIIT at 190F and tried to sweat it all out.

Jammed some Incubus, UGK and Zro.

What's up OT swole team??

I got some cardio and abs coming up today, after having a really good back/bi's day yesterday. What workouts/runs/swims/chopping wood kind of routines does everybody else have going on today??

BUMP

After drinking a handle of Makers and about 30 Michelob Ultras at the lake for the holiday weekend, I was back at it yesterday. 22 minutes of HIIT on the elliptical machine and 10 minutes in the sauna. I don't think I have ever sweated so much in my life. Didn't eat that bad but the drinking was heavy.

Even after the weekend, got on the scale this morning and I am at 238, which is 17 pounds from where I started about a month ago (255). Will be hitting some HIIT on the rowing machine today at lunch and probably another 10 minutes in the sauna. In a wedding on 6-11 and want to be at/under 230 when I head down for it. Anyone else struggle over the long weekend?
