Me too. Have been out of shape for about ten years. Been retired for almost two weeks now. Working hard around the house and yard, soon as I'm caught up, will begin walking program and light weight lifting. I need to get down to around 200 lbs.
5. I really don't give a shite what others think about me. I'm an old Florida Cracker (zero Tats) and River Rat. I wear Jorts, Flip Flops, cotton Tees and straw hats during the summer when I'm on the river. I'm a one woman man. We've been married for 40 great years. Have two children and five grands. So far life's been grand.

The school I work in has major issues and since it is a border town, there is a culture of well craziness. The divide of incomes is either very wealthy to very poor, no middle ground.
To prevent the "segregation" they have made no neighborhood schools and lumped all the kids into pre k-k, 1-2, 3-4, intermediate, middle, then high school.
There are drug issues at all schools but SRO's have no control over it. I know most of the kids at the intermediate that are having trouble, since I see them in my job.
Due to that I am sending my kid to Catholic school and also I like the structure of the parish and its school.

Realistically, probably nothing due to my size and melanin levels. However, some things yall might find amusing:
1. Certified yoga instructor(ladies love that, btw)
2. Wear lululemon capris when going to teach a yoga class.
3. Wear running tights when I work out.(you may be laughing, but your girl is ogling my thighs)

It is in Arkansas, not Tejas.
If we were in Tejas I would send him to public school most likely. I would either live in the San Antonio or University Park parts of the Great State of Texas.
I want to move, but she does not want to be that far from her parents.

3. Sidewalker MSU (sounds crazy I know)
4. both pinky fingers are slightly bent towards the next finger on the end due to Mississippi genetics
5. I haven't grown up. I still like loud and fast cars, heavy bullshite, profanity and would be high as a kite right now if I wern't in the Army. (I subdue all this just enough to be a good family man but it surfaces on the reg)
That list was hard to do since I'm 6'3", 190 lbs, blue eyed with awesome black hair..
