I agree, Eric is pretty awesome. An underrated guitarist though is Neal Schon, mainly because of the band he plays for, which is noted to be a more chick band, Journey.

Stop listening to crappy radio stations.

RUSH was awesome. Tom Sawyer, Limelight, Spirit of the Radio are their worst songs.

This was RUSH

Absolutely. I'm not a fan of the stations that play the same songs over and over, however.

AOR stations eventually became classic rock stations but the playlist became much smaller over the years.

One thing I've learned from this thread is that the SECrOT has a terrible taste in music

I didn't think I'd ever say this but....

I think I'll stick to the TD music board

The board that's obsessed with bands like The Grateful Dead and Phish? I'll pass.

CBS should be shot for letting them do the football intros.

What I've learned from that board is that you can't really appreciate Phish until you've seen them live at least 20 times.

While The Beatles are far from my favorite group (very, very far), they heavily influenced modern rock in a good way. A lot of great acts were influenced by the Beatles. For that reason I can't say they're overrated.

Nirvana, on the other hand, also influenced a lot of modern acts; however, they legitimately changed music for the worse. shite loads of distortion does not a guitar player make.

Both are extremely overrated. Especially the Stones.

How are the Stones more overrated than the Beatles?

Because there's even a debate as to who's better.
