It depends on what your definition of country is. If it is cowboy hats, farm living, etc...then it's TX. If it's country music related, then it's TN. If it's meth related then it's AR.
However, in now shape or form is it GA, Lewdog. You can't just discount 60% the population of that state.

Take a look at Mississippi's demographic information and you'll understand why we're not the most "country" southern state.

Kentucky damn sure comes close to the top by any measure

I would say Oklahoma is more methy in particular, and Arkansas/Mississippi/Alabama are in a three-way tie for being generally trashy and poor. Louisiana and Georgia have too much going on for them in NOLA/Atlanta to be the most country, and I almost don't even consider Florida, if not for the very northern part.

MS, then tie between TN and AL, followed closely with TX

I'd put pockets of Florida against any state in the country

Texas easily
Maybe parts of East Texas.
As a whole, I'm going to say MS.

Nope...you can't call yourself "country" and call your soft drink "soda" or "pop". Diametrically opposed.

Texas

When I think country, I think Tennessee.
