20 years ago, my answer would have been "Kentucky",times have changed though,and now my answer is "Louisiana". This isn't a put-down.

Mostly because more people there tend to live off the land,raise gardens,stuff like that. Even in towns, you still see more people with sideyard gardens and such.

The best tomatoes I ever had,came out of a woman's 1/2 acre,chain link fenced yard in Bridge City.

If you go by country music, Outlaw Country originated in Texas. Artists like Willie, Waylon, Roger Miller, Don Williams, Kris Kristofferson, Tanya Tucker, Townes Van Zandt, were all from Texas.

Not to mention Bob Wills, Lefty Frizzell, as well as the invention of chili, cattle drives, the panhandle -- I can't even see any other state even comes close.

Georgia is the South. That Florida-Georgia line crap is a joke at best, an atrocity at worst.
