Original account? It didn't take but a month or less to digest the extreme amount of hatred for Alabama by LSU fans brother. I am also not trying to berate any administrators, it's just that personal attacks are allowed.

Give me a break dude. Our politics were just as corrupt under a democratic governor.

Raise your hand if you can enjoy a drive thru daiquiri in your state or grab a bottle of Bourbon next to the Doritos in the gas station or grocery store? Thanks what I thought

I'm not suggesting those states are exactly the garden spot of the U.S. but this list has North Dakota at #4 so something is off.

Is this something to beat your chest about dude? Another sign of the flawed culture in Louisiana. You are making this too easy.

We all know that Florida, Georgia and maybe Texas are the cream of the crop as far as SEC states are concerned, but c'mon Louisiana. How do you come up behind Mississippi. There's a reason that the phrase "Thank god for Mississippi" exists.

When another state gets better gumbo or other delicious food then we can have this discussion but as it stands now LA has some damn tasty things to eat.

"When I took over as governor of Arkansas, our state was dead-last when it came to reading and literacy. But due to some hard work, with the help of the programs I implemented, we shot right past Mississippi!"

I would live in Louisiana over any number of freezing cold liberal progressive Yankee states.

I've lived in both NOLA and Charleston. When it comes to the food...

They're close, man. Real close.

This isn't a secret to anyone who's spent any time there.

Alabama is shitty, too, but it belongs at #46, not #47. It's better than New Mexico.

I never understand why places like Alaska, Montana, Idaho, and the Dakotas don't comprise the butt of these lists. Apart from the frigid winters that will kill you deader'n frick, they're just desolate areas with little opportunity, apart from capital cities. I'll take a sub-par community college or the chance of my car being broken into over living somewhere that resembles the set of a post-apocalyptic thriller five months of the year.

New Orleans alone bumps Louisiana up five spots. These people just hate the south

Good bet you've never actually been to Montana.

Factoring infrastructure, economy, corruption, crime, and quality of drinking water, I don't see how Michigan isn't in the bottom 10.
