You know why no one gives a shite about the Fed fricking us? Because you'd have to explain how. The average American couldn't understand the concept. They can however understand the baggy pants black man running out of the store.

There really should be an IQ minimum to vote. I'm totally serious.

I'll refer to this thread when I need an example of you losing a discussion and resorting to the shameful but often beloved and encouraged tactic of spinning off topic.

You saying that after the WTC discussion is precious.

That's the one everyone refers to when they enter a debate with a madman who then goads people to try and continue his insane dance.

I'm just not going to continue it because it's more of a difference in opinion and is for the most part subjective.

It is for fun, which is why I just laugh at you...

Like everyone else.

Where in our discussion, thus far, does opinion come into play?

You said that you're fine with income tax going towards the interest on the debt because it has helped fund the strongest military, giving security to the people of the US.

I replied by informing you that if we created currency in the treasury, instead of letting a private corporation create it and loan it to us with interest, then there would be no possible way for income tax to go towards debt interest.

We are so fricked it's not even funny. I meet people daily that I can't believe they have the right to drive a car much less vote.

You said that you're fine

Yes, I said I was fine. Which means I'm completely content with what's going on.

This is called subjective.

One of us likes something or feels comfortable with something and the other does not.

I have no problem with the people paying the national debt, or that it was run up purchasing the military.

We've discussed this to death.

My conclusion - capitalism and everything that goes with it has failed.

No system of economics will operate benevolently if the people in the system aren't benevolent.

IOW, it's not capitalism that has failed, IMO. It is humanity that has failed. Socialism which isn't rooted in empathy and justice will fail just the same as capitalism which isn't rooted in empathy and justice.

The guys in suits will get away with whatever they can get away with. It's the job of our politicians to stop them. The problem isn't with the guys in suits - it's our politicians who don't work for the people anymore.

I think ST keeps a log of his "victories" on tRant. I don't think he has a column for losses. I noticed that he has declared a win over you in this thread. I would say his strategy is stamina rather than intellect.

That could be readily taken care of with simple voter ID laws and a rule stating you cannot claim a welfare check as your sole source of income if you want to vote ... unless you've served in the military and are disabled.

I actually brought this up a few times in the past. He says: "That's not relevant", or any iteration of that and just browbeats you until you just say "frick it".

And that's hard to get from me, but even I don't argue with crazy.

True dat. I love to follow a thread where someone is actually discussing a subject with you in a sharing way. Very entertaining. You and Duke are great conversationalists.
