They want, and apparently are going to get, Lee Circle re-designated something else to honor Louis Armstrong, Andrew Jackson, Mahalia Jackson and Fats Domino.

Won't be him. As soon as they are allowed to destroy this history, the statues of Jackson, and Bienville are next.
I say replace Lee, with a statue of Mitch. That way New Orleanian, for generations, can learn from our mistakes.

They cost the taxpayers absolutely nothing, till Mitch, decided the city would foot the cost for removing the vandalism, he encourages. That way, he can use that as another reason to take them down.
All upkeep, and cleaning had for the last 25 years, been done by the Monumental Task Committee.

So my question is, when are they going to start removing Union Memorials, up north, like the statue of that raping, pillaging, looting, burning, and butchering SOB Sherman in Central Park in NYC?

I actually don't hate Sherman. He did what was necessary to win the war. Stonewall was advocating for similar destruction and policies at the start of the war but was never allowed to implement it. War is hell as Sherman said and you do what you have to do to win it.

Wow, wish we could all be as tolerant as you. You want to punch someone, for having a different opinion than yours? Sounds like you should be the one to leave America.
That's the beauty of such a diversified country, with freedom of speech. People will have different opinions, and people WILL be offended at times. And there's not a damn thing wrong with that.

Americans have committed war crimes in every conflict we've ever been involved in.

Take down all of the memorials.

The logical course to take now is to use our might and influence to make the world a better place. This is happening more rapidly than ever before.

What? Are you serious? I'm not sure if you're being serious. You are not serious ... are you?

America is using its might against horrendous groups who would take us back to the dark ages. Also, American technology culture has swamped the world.

Do what? OMG ... you are being serious.

We're shaping the world because more foreigners speak American English than Queen's English.

I see.

Okay ... gotcha.

I thought I did. What Sherman did was obscene.

So then, why do we honor him with an untouchable statue in Central Park in NYC?

The world will be better off with 3rd wave feminism, SJW crime think policing, vapid consumerism, and rap. Hopefully we can eventually convince the heathens around the globe to throw off their dusty old religions and traditions and learn to worship Kanye and Kim like Americans.

What charleston family names if you don't mind. My wife is from the caters and marions. We were the eighth generation to get married in the same church in charleston.

My wife's maiden name is Butler, but she also has Rutledge, Spring and Leverette in her lineage on her father's side. Her mother's maiden name is Sanguinetti.

I'd rather not give my surname in a public forum ... it's well known in these parts and it would give away my identity.

Tbird ... I'd be disappointed in you, but nah, I always suspected as much.

So you're not going to answer the paradoxical question huh? I thought not ... because you know how it would end. You're just going to continue to sling insults and try to make it personal.

Chicken shite, total unmitigated balless chicken shite. You're chicken shite to stir up this race baiting bullshite of yours and then chicken shite outta answering the question.

This was never about race. The civil war is what it is ... or was. Nothing any of us can do about it and I am damn sure the wrong white man to try to white guilt ... frick that.

This is about the monuments, the hypocrisy, the disrespect ... the double standard.

But should you decide to actually answer the paradoxical question ... which I seriously doubt you have the balls to do ... we'll go from there.

Jesus Christ. You brought up race first, then tried to flip it on me. Literally zero people itt were discussing race until your "angry blacks" comment.

You want to discuss balls, but are scared to type your surname. Maybe do that, and we'll talk.

My name is Trey Felder.

No I didn't ... you did. I've already proven that.

And no, I am not going to publish my name on any forum. Period/

allow me to present you with a paradoxical question if I may Tbird.

Let's say I had a time machine and you and I could hold hands and sing kumbaya and go back to 1581 St Augustine, FL, where the first slaves were brought into this country ... let's say we go back to 1580 or 79 or whatever. YOu can change things ... what would you change? You have the power, with the snap of your fingers, to change it ... what would you change?

Scared has nothing to do with it ... it would just be foolish to do so. Everything would change that instant ... I'm not going to do it.

BTW, fify.

Oh, and when you are ready to answer the paradoxical question ... then we'll continue this discussion.
