I wouldn't, since atheist are vastly outnumbered by Christians especially in the south. Can't remember an atheist coming to my door or mailing me flyers or running TV's ads telling me how great their church is and how much Jesus loves me.

Uhh i see atheist proselytizing, billboards, etc. Militant atheists are generally more outspoken. The mean-spirited didactic Dawkins is a bigger rock star than Billy Graham.

An annoying militant Christian uses morality, he will shame you. Or he uses happiness, attempts to provide you with hope.

An annoying militant atheists uses condescension and mockery.

Both are ridiculous. One is worse than the other for me personally

When was the last time they came to your door and asked if you'd like to be saved from ignorance?

I'm wagering never.

In college, and quite often. I live in a gated community now and all solicitors need an HOA go ahead. So we don't get any missionaries, theistical or otherwise.

The condescending atheist is about the most annoying person out there. They do a disservice to atheist like myself who don't really care what people believe if it has a positive impact in their lives.

Yeah. There are plenty of tacit non confrontational theists, atheists, agnostics. Basically, regular people.

The outspoken few ruin everything

ETA: except for agnostics.

True for pretty much any philosophy. Outspoken liberals taint all liberals. Outspoken conservatives taint conservatives. Terrorist taint Islam, ect.

Life is happier when you take your ego out of your chosen belief structure.

Christians didn't stone people...they just burned them at the stake.

He existed.

He wasn't the "son of god" though.

He lives! He is my Lord and Savior. I talk to Him every day.

Deal with it.

The articles in which provide evidence for Jesus are all from the same sources that list him as a miracle worker, who no one believes.

Pretty bold statement there.

I am honestly surprised. And I'm not talking shite either. I always thought you would be one who said he didn't exist.

Agree to disagree on this though.

Was called a moron multiple times in college for my beliefs. So don't act like atheists don't push their beliefs, or lack thereof, on the general population.
