In all seriousness, I don't see how it can be a choice. You're either attracted to the same sex or you aren't. But can attraction be learned?

Yes.

All of the homosexual people I know didn't want to be gay, were gay from a young age, and wish they could hit a button and be straight. In the deep south its made their life a bit more complicated.

The Deep South can be a shitshow. I grew up thinking gay people were nasty and evil. Come to find out they're just people like me.

Kinsey said people changed their sexual preference multiple times in their life. But he was a pedobear, so...

They have recently discovered the Fabulous gene. There seems to be a direct link between it and homosexuality. It also shows a strong relationship between it and great fashion sense.

You could substitute literally dozens of behaviors and say the same thing. That doesn't prove anything.

Really?

Are you defending the hate filled bigots who believe that being gay is a choice despite how much more difficult a gay lifestyle is in the backwards parts of the US?

I just don't get it. I've seen adult men, grown men, get close to throwing fists over a kid that was gay, dressed a little flamboyantly, and went to church with his family. This can't be defended.
That is the sort of hateful shite I don't want in the deep south, and I actually know people that are PROUD of being bigoted towards gay people. What a strange world I live in where those bigots are playing the victim card.

You're just a horrible reader.
If you'd like to argue with what he said, do it. Having an emotional fit over what you'd like to argue about which doesn't address his rather cogent and concise point is unproductive.

I am a life long Christian who is a youth pastor in a very conservative denomination. Just to clarify my position.

NO there is no scientific evidence, but yes they are. Not in the manner you think though. I believe it is meta-physical. We are all born into sin, and we are each born with temptations to different sins. Attraction itself is not a sin, but it is a temptation. Temptation, if we make the CHOICE to do so, can become sin. It is like anything else in life. You have a choice. However the temptation, or attraction, to the opposite sex is something that might go away through time, or not.

This sin is the same as my sin. I do not judge. Well, try not to. Some make it hard when they expect us to be silent while they scream and yell about their lifestyle.

No, I'm pointing you to the OP which asked if there was scientific evidence and you responded "Yes".

I'm just asking you to post your evidence without all the distracting insults.
