Democratic Kentucky Governor siding with Democratic policies. To be expected.

Kentucky has a good governor who might be president one day.

North of Louisville, I’d classify them more as Appalachian than Southern. Not always the same thing, though closely related. People in Newport and Covington in NoKy are culturally closer to West Virginia than Alabama or Tennessee. But they’re still very different than the Ohioans of Cincinnati who are literally just a glance across the river.

North of Louisville is Indiana. WTF are talking about? Do you even know where the Appalachian Mountains are?

They voted for Trump, love country music and eat black eyed peas. They just screwed up on voting for a Democrat Governor. Outside of Florence/Covington and some parts of Louisville, they are Southern.

You do know that the South voted Democrat pretty solid for about 100 to 150 years before Bush Jr beat Gore.

Northern Kentucky looks like Ohio, so many people make the mistake that the people must be the same. Nope. Kentucky people all the way through. Literally NONE of this is correct. Impressive.

Doubtful. He has all the charisma of wet noodle. I think he would be exposed on a national stage. I appreciate everything he's done, mainly by just doing his job. He's brought in economic development and avoided most of the politics because it's frankly pointless to push any agenda when the state congress is controlled by his party opponents. He's worked with the them on a few things that benefit all of Kentucky where they could reach an agreement and he's been overturned on some other issues.

Its oddly been surprisingly functional. Also he would have likely lost his elections if the GOP Candidates both times he ran didn't go full retard attacking teachers.

Missouri is less southern by nature. But honestly, anything north of Tennessee is yankee territory.

His order (least to most southern)

9 Texas
8 North Carolina
7 Arkansas
6 Louisiana
5 South Carolina
4 Georgia
3 Tennessee
2 Missouri
1 Alabama

Missouri is the least southern as well as the 2nd MOST southern? Is he bifurcating the state or something?

Clearly national Republicans who never visited the state. I know tons of KY teachers and they are mostly Republicans.

The GOP wants to control education. They want to alter history by sugarcoating slavery and ignoring the plight of early American Native Americans. Even with an approved curriculum, you have to be careful what you say because they can still cause you issues.

More southern than Missouri, that's for sure.

The culture is appalachian, which is by most definitions southern.

No. They are white trash that happens to be in the North.

If your state didn't officially join the Confederacy, you are a Yankee. Sorry

Neither Missouri nor Kentucky officially joined the Confederacy. They were too chicken shite and kissed Ohio's arse.

Maryland and Delaware also did the same shite....and most consider them Yanks too.
