If I can't get to the ocean or gulf in a 3-4 hour drive, I don't wanna live there.

Mountains are beautiful, but I like being close to the water.

I've got both. Sea and mountains. I'm very attached to both.

I've got family in the San Fran bay area. They brag about being able to water ski or snow ski within a 4 hour drive.

We can ski to sea. Our ski area is on an island, but we're surrounded by the inside passage, protected waters of the Pacific. I live on the side of a mountain, and have tidewater 400 yards away.

We're only 900 miles north of Seattle. Much milder than the much of the state, as far as winter weather goes.

So can you confirm the existence of any marauding bands of vampires in northern Alaska?

Not yet, but I haven't been to Northern Alaska in years. The most northern point in the state would be the equivalent in distance (from me) as Atlanta is from Ely Minnesota.

I didn't even put the place that I would love more than any other and the most attainable...

Rosemary Beach...
