I'm not super conservative either which is why I think I'd do fine out west/ northwest

I can generally do fine regardless of the dominant political ideology. It's pretty easy to avoid.

San Diego is a great place. I know it sounds cliche but make time to go to the zoo it is effin awesome.

I'd say Montana or Jackson Hole. But I'd still want a place in Arkansas.

I know this sounds completely crazy coming from me, but I would love to move to someplace like Lincoln, NE. It is not too big, expose MJ to all seasons, and sports within the seasons. A major college and have some access to pro sports. With the college close he can get some of culture (arts music).

Northern Californa, like Yosemite, Redding area etc. ( not San Fran, Sacramento etc.) Or anywhere along the Pacific Coast Highway like somebody mentioned. Carmel hands down is a top 5-10 most beautiful city/landscape in the U.S

I spent a few months living on a boat in Lake Union when I was there for work one winter. Took a wrong turn (drunk) and walked across the Aurora Bridge. Thank god for a friendly person who rescued me before I got real lost.
