I think the biggest problem is that they're against the system -- give up before they even start.
They need to start voting, for sure, though, and I am positive that they will next election.

Nephew has two kids with black wives. It has been high entertainment introducing them to my father from north central Texas. The quizzical looks have been priceless. But then, I've always enjoyed punching his buttons. My Mexican Catholic girlfriend in HS about blew his mind. I think the Catholic bit bothered him more than the Mexican part, I was just happy to get him riled up.

No joke, though, I met the whitest white boy I have ever seen in my office the other day, and he's married to a black chick. One of two "reverse" IR couples I know on base
