Didn't say you couldn't. As long as the admins don't care, it's not my concern. Just pointed out that the result might not be what you hope for. If you don't think lots of people are turned off by this sort of thing, you aren't looking around hard enough. It's no different from people inserting their politics on a forum unrelated to political issues. I'd say the same thing if you'd decided to honor your 20,000th post by ranting about a politician you hate on the SEC-R.
Or, to put a fine point on it, would you be particularly pleased with someone coming here to proclaim the glories of devil worship on a football forum? (And if you say 'yes,' let's get it out of the way now -- I don't believe you.)

I don't pretend to know if God hates gays. I just asked a question. A question that even Old Sarge picked up as a decent attempt to inject a little humor into this thread.
BTW, I don't hate gays either, as someone who grew up very near to the French Quarter and who grew up fast and was exposed to much of what goes on down there at an early age.
I can honestly say I have always viewed gay men like Bert views dieting super models at a buffet..... Less competition.
