My post is what it is, and I respect your right to accept or deny what it communicates

quote:

“Listen! A farmer went out to plant some seeds. 4 As he scattered them across his field, some seeds fell on a footpath, and the birds came and ate them. 5 Other seeds fell on shallow soil with underlying rock. The seeds sprouted quickly because the soil was shallow. 6 But the plants soon wilted under the hot sun, and since they didn’t have deep roots, they died. 7 Other seeds fell among thorns that grew up and choked out the tender plants. 8 Still other seeds fell on fertile soil, and they produced a crop that was thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as had been planted! 9 Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand.”

I'm trying to make sense of that and just can't- do you mean unable not unwilling and take out a 'to'? I wouldn't agree with that but at least it would make sense.

He's saying that if one is truly a Christian and he chooses NOT to share what he believes with others, then he(the Christian) must truly hate them. For withholding the Word from them in the end will certainly lead to the unsaved being doomed.

Should probably say "unwilling to witness".

The meaning being....if a Christian truly believes that he has the key to eternal life, he would have to hate somebody not to share that key with them.

Another way to put it. If you had the cure for cancer and knew someone with cancer, you would have to hate them not to share the cure with them.

Ahh I see. I liked your post but I'm not much of a sharer nor do I think I'm a hater, maybe I'm just not a good Christian.

How much do you have to hate someone to genuinely believe they are going to spend eternity in Hell and not try and save them by telling them about Jesus?

As an atheist I welcome people who evangelize, they have a firm belief in something and act on it out of love for their fellow man. I think it's nonsense to expect my Christian friends and family to not try and evangelize to me.

Im sure God loves the yell leaders but he certainly does not love Gays at all. He burnt and destroyed cities. Look up the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah.
