I'm not knocking you, but there's also the very real danger that inserting this stuff into completely unrelated topics or forums (as you'll see on plenty of news sites' comment section) will give people the impression of intrusiveness, dogmatism, and inappropriateness. Not exactly traits you want people to associate with your religion, right? If you're not careful, you could just as easily push people away from your religion. That, perhaps, is even the more likely outcome. How many people do you know who read a well-known (i.e. not some sort of obscure revelation) Bible quote on a sports message board and decided to give Christianity the old college try?

At least that isn't as bad as the occasional stories of people leaving Bible verses instead of money as tips for their waitstaff. That's just a good way to inspire real antipathy toward Christians.
