One of my favorite annual pastimes is when my kids get their school yearbooks and I go through them finding the worst names.
The altered spelling of common names is one of the worst trends out there. In addition to the ones you mentioned, it is astounding how many different spellings of "Riley" are out there. Ryleigh, Rylie, Rayleigh, Ryley, etc.

Perhaps one of the black posters could weigh in on why the hell it's not more common in the black community for them to just open up a book of legitimate African names and use those instead of the ridiculous ghetto names that we white folk love to poke fun at? I completely get the wanting to go for a name that is black and distinctive, so why not use actual names from the continent instead of this made up crap?

I HATE uni-sex names. I wish people would just stop that. Why do people feel they need to do that to kids. People dating each other with the same name is just odd...or gay.
I did know a girl once named Michael Jackson...yes after the singer and she was as white as the come. Seriously some people shouldn't be allowed to have kids.
Years ago I was watching one of the dating shows on the WB or something were 2 guys/girls would compete for the girl/guy. They show the separate dates etc. Anyway one time they had identical twin black brothers competing for the girl and one was Bill and the other was William...:facepalm:
