The Starbucks Veranda blend is the best one they make. Their darker roasts taste burnt to me.
I was blown away when I learned lighter roasts have more caffeine than darker roasts. Though I'm not really sure if it's discernible to the average drinker.

I'm not a fan of hot drinks and I always get my coffee frozen/blended. I think I probably just consumed too much and since I never drink any to begin with it made me feel pretty terrible.

Funny you say that. My wife enjoys Folgers Instant Coffee and I have tried it on occasion. It's not awful but it's just too "creamy" tasting. That's the best way I can describe it. I like a little more bite.

Lol. My little brother was asked to leave a Starbucks after he asked them to remake his beverage the 3rd time. He's far more snobby than the average bear, but he's spent a small fortune for his own home setup.

Quite the assumption you're making.
I honestly just prefer two shots of espresso from my local coffee shop. However there is some decent to good stuff on the walls in bags at a Starbucks. It's just not the stuff coming out of a brewer.

Try this, throw a handful of ground beans into a small pot with a cup or two of water, think small cups!
Bring it to a boil, let it settle, repeat twice and then once the grounds settle its coffee. This is the Israeli method, I had some made from beans ground in old Jerusalem and it was awesome. Strong as hell but awesome.

I typically grab a blonde roast from Starbucks on the way to class. I'm not too into the real dark and bitter stuff.

Do you filter out the grounds or just drink it like a man?

i like french press but don't like the work involved particularly. the oil is fine
i'd call myself a folders/community type of guy.
i do Keurig and/or pot of both on occasion, but i do have a Kuerig that i employ pretty regularly.
Starbucks coffee is burnt crap and they should be embarrassed for selling it.
