They'll lose, unfortunately that's the way the law is written in New York.

MCD was the nails, taken far too soon.
Best part of that scene tho is when MCD grabs the 2nd knife
"We will use this knife to get the other Knife out" or something like that.

i'd just not charge anybody on the front end and turn down people and take donations after the fact. that gives me freedom to say no. i'm sure there's a way around it.
i just cling to the fact that we need to let our bigots and racists (Sterling) be bigots and racists and not try to legislate it out of them. Let the market decide if they don't like their personal beliefs.

As for your use last time of said gif...
Ice changed the LSU to Mizzou and Tigers did lose, so the cycle of messing with Karma is still in force. I told you I might switch to the Vols and switch the Voodoo but it looks like keeping the Mizzou icon has been way more fun so far. If they now lose to TAMU, I may just have to let it ride, so Vols are safe this week.

That doesn't mean I agree with this, but people need to stop acting like this is some "gay agenda".
Holy shite. Being black is not the same as being gay. Gonna start shite with this liberal board here, but you are born black, you are not born gay.
These people should allowed to refuse service to anyone for any reason and should refuse to pay this. It is the government overstepping it's bounds, they trying to force these people to do something that is deeply offensive to them, but yet you see no problem with that simply because the fairies got their way.

And I think that if someone can get away with ignoring the law, they'll be more likely to continue doing so. Humans are selfish by nature and want to have their way. We never quite grow up in that sense. That's why there are laws.
Even in this example, the couple operating the business recognize that the law has precedence. They're considering hiring someone to schedule the weddings so that they won't discriminate under the law but will also not violate their beliefs since they won't be involved with the process. It's a silly, IMO, but effective solution for them.
This should not be a law and if you agree with the law's existence you need to go live in a Socialist country instead of trying to turn the US into one.

So what you're saying is that someone chooses to be gay?

Vols, if i didn't know any better, i would say that's exactly what's implied. How do you feel about this issue?

I know from personal experience that of all the orifices I've stuck my genitalia in, I've chosen like at least 83% of them.
YMMV

i'm batting 66%. the 33% was an accident and i might have liked it but i can assure you that the other party didn't and made the rest of the evening unpleasant.

You act as though it is impossible for the latter to vote itself into a least a perverted version of the former. You don't believe these people should be allowed to exert ownership control over property they own and operate a business they own upon. You clearly believe that society should have more say in how they operate than they should as the actual owners. You don't believe they should be even allowed to do business with people they choose to do business with, that is up to society to decide too. How is that not a socialist viewpoint? Your opinion seems to stop just shy of full-blown socialism, but it is certainly not in line with the views this country was built upon. I'll stick with my "perverted socialism" term, until you present a better option.
Gays marrying violates the owner's religious beliefs, the government should not be trying to force them to give up their freedom of religion solely so some gays don't have hurt feelings. This is massive overstep, IMO, and kowtowing to the gay agenda.

The state has anti-discriminatory laws. They were broken. Why do you want to force your religion on others? You don't believe in gay marriage, that's fine, but is it any of your business what they do? They opened a business renting out their farm. They refused to rent it to them because they didn't share their religious beliefs. What if this was a Hindu wedding? Would the homophobes here be just as up in arms that the local gas station clerk wanted to get married in the eyes of Vishnu, Shiva, and Devi on this farm but they wouldn't let them? Isn't worshiping false idols just as bad, if not worse, than two chicks cutting paper all night? I remember that one being important enough to be engraved on stone.

Not in the same manner as you choose between a BMW or Mercedes, but in most cases, yes. Though I think for many it can be looked at like a choice that was made for them through life experiences, environment, etc.
There are almost certainly cases where there is a genetic predisposition toward it, though I think that is rare since I choose not to look at being gay as a mutation and it is clearly not a gene that would lend itself easily to reproduction.
