You do know that every state (except South Carolina) had regiments that fought for the other side? Why are there tales passed down of it being brother against brother and father against son? If I lived in Ohio more than likely my father or brother doesn't live in Louisiana or Alabama at that time. Now there was alot of family's split in the border states but it wasn't just in those areas.

A blow at slavery is a blow at commerce and civilization.”
