Offensive? No. But, I do look at people who are obsessed with that flag with a skeptical eye.

I could get behind a biscuits and gravy, pancakes with maple syrup and orange juice flag lol. I'd salute the frick out that flag

How about this?
One group admit they were wrong, drop the symbol that offends the victims of the wrong doing. And move the frick on.
The other group forgive the group that committed atrocities against them. And move the frick on.
Drop race in any kind of discourse aside from medical issues. And move the frick on.
Look at the Middle East and see people hating other races because that's what they do. Is that what you want? If not....

I think only civil war enthusiasts and the Sons of Confederate Soldiers look at it that way.
Flags and symbols meanings can evolve over time. I think for most,(excluding the racist crazies) they just think it shows pride of being Southern and the unique culture and lifestyle that sets us apart from the rest of the country. People have the right to perceive it as racist if they want, but it's really not the case.

Not really you just aren't agreeing with my point of view and that's fine. As far as I'm concerned there is no two sides to the confederate flag. That flag was created as a symbol for one thing and one thing only. It was created as a symbol to show the whites superiority over the blacks that's all its creator stated this. Whoever wants to deny this is ignoring facts. Now the sooner folks call it what it is we can just all simply move on.
