It might not be the case to you, but sadly it is the case to millions of black people and other minorities who were affected by this flag under Jim Crow and the Ku Klux Klan. Good try wonderwart hawg. I knew someone would post that OLD arse pic. When was that pic taken...like 1930's. Confederate flag wasn't used much or displayed much back then. It made a comeback during civil rights movement as a symbol of segregation, fight against integration, etc.
Proves most people's point. Flag is symbol of hate, that's why it became popular back in the 50's-60's and wasn't displayed much from 1900-1950. When civil rights took off that's when racist rallied around the flag. Thanks for posting a 1930 pre civil rights pic when the flag wasn't displayed much.
ETA: Can you tell me when the flag was put on state capitol's grounds, atop state houses, adopted on the Georgia flag, etc. It was waaaay after that OLD great depression KKK pic you posted. Why all of a sudden a love for the flag in the 50's-60's and afterwards.

The South is experiencing a major economic boom, with cities like Atlanta, Nashville, Charlotte, Greenville, Huntsville, and Birmingham on the rise. More and more people are moving down south because of the job and opportunities and the overall standard of living. Race relations are at an all time high and there truly is a sense of integration that is not felt around many parts of the country. So why not pick a symbol that unifies ALL of us, instead of a select few who hold on to the dream of a failed nation?

The South had superior fighting men in every regard. It took 3 northern pussies to equal one Southern man in battle. It would be akin to 3 140lb HS wrestlers finally taking down a heavyweight Olympic Gold medalist after an hour on the mat claiming they handed them his arse.
So, the first thing we can be proud of is that we are superior in combat. The average Southern man beats the average northern mans arse 10/10 in a straight up fight.
Other than that.

The Union might have had greater casualties, but if you look at the state of the South during Reconstruction you can easily tell that the Union made the South its bitch.

Speaking as a white guy who had a confederate flag in the dorm room, I never had it there cause of the civil war or to piss off black people. It was mostly to piss off Yankees in college. Still it should come down
