I agree. I loved Continental before the merger, but now not so much. Still fly United more than any because of CC rewards.

Will be flying Southwest more now because they are getting a daily route to Belize in October. Booked a flight for two in December for less than I normally pay for one ticket.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

We ended up flying Delta (the SO out of Memphis, myself out of Louisville). The SO had a delay coming out of Memphis but had plenty of layover time and ended up only a couple minutes late coming into ATL. All other flights were on -time or early. Had no issues with luggage. The online check in and boarding passings through their app was spot on.

Atlanta wasn't bad at all. It was busy but super easy to navigate and you can't beat the food options during a decent layover. I thoroughly enjoy the people watching.

Was also pretty damn happy to not be flying United today.

Yeah, I'm excited about SW expanding to a few other countries. We booked a trip to Cancun (on the way to riviera de maya) for less than it cost for me to send my wife and I to NYC. All on points.

I fly Alaska exclusively on domestic flights.
