Did you receive your US population control training while in the Service?

We mostly did breaching practice and finding the best places that old people hide their pain pills. Everyone knows that Iraq just practical application of the plan to control the US population.

One good thing though, I got a luxury suite at my nearest FEMA death camp when that time comes. That is the most awesome benefit second only to the post 9/11 GI bill.

Anyone who thinks that the military, even as good as ours is, can control this much land mass and 330,000,000 people doesn't know much about military or law enforcement matters.

This is the Liberal America you asked for and now you don't trust it or the people who risk their lives daily to protect it?

This is the worst thread you've ever started.

I'm not particularly worried, this shite wouldn't fly in Texas. Unlike Baltimore, the majority of law-abiding citizens and private business owners have guns here. A couple rioters would get shot on the first day and that would be the end of that.

Hardy_Har is trying to confuse the issue with odd accusations because the topic makes him uncomfortable due to his chosen profession.

A local civil rights leader in Key West ran a campaign down here about how more black people get arrested for drugs than white people. She then went on and on as to why that is and how awful the cops here are, and what the perceptions are.

A reporter at the Newspaper then did some research and ran the numbers. Turns out whites are arrested at a 2:1 rate as opposed to blacks as far as drugs, and an even larger disparity when it comes to arrests overall. That leader shut the hell up real quick.

We'll be fine down here. Our black population is mostly Haitians. I've found that the black people here are much more friendly and respectful than the whites here. Most of the whites are stuck-up, road rage assholes from the North. It got to a point when out of frustration I found myself cursing to a coworker about how awful white people down here tend to be.

FTR, I'm as white as can be.

Damn. I downvoted Roger's post by accident due to chubby fingers, but he is absolutely correct. We'd have a few small pockets of bullshite in Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio maybe, but aside from the news coverage most of us wouldn't even know. Wouldn't be any fricking around here in Tarrant County. Most folks are peaceful and law-abiding, but can roll hard if the circumstances dictate.

The Key West cops I met down there were pretty cool.

Is this the latest CBS crime drama I've been hearing about? What time does it air?

A lot of people are already scared, and at that point. Women especially. And now that's what I'm really afraid of. We'll be thankful when it happens.

I think you and women are the only ones uncomfortable.

South Carolina is much the same. Hell, the state had to deal with the guy who got shot getting out of his car (fired the trooper immediately), and the jackass cop in North Charleston who shot the guy in the back (charged the cop with murder).

No riots. No protesting of any record. I attribute that to the state handling their affairs practically, but also to the fact that the local bystanders are armed to the hilt.

The more I talk to different women about this and how open they are to martial law, the more uncomfortable I get. Yes.

I've only been to Baltimore once. It was for the Preakness. We stayed at my Jewish friend's parents' house in the burbs, got up at 5am, and drank all day in the infield. Don't remember the actual race. True story.

ETA: I've drove through a few other times, that doesn't count

Start at right under $80,000. Patrolman with 3 years makes like $95,000.

4 year degrees only.

According to this link top pay for a beat cop with a 4 yr. degree is $47,190.44

2 yr degree...$45,776.16

ETA:.... This is still way better than average...
