I believe America is owned by aristocrats who manipulate this country for their greedy ends, democracy and freedom are farces. What is your code based on? Why do you have it? Some vague concept of what America STANDS FOR, our hagiography. I believe it's a lie.

Why do I have the code?
I was raised that way, multiple times. I belong to an organization of ideas and thoughts that travels from West to East and you have to multiple times. I work with individuals that have had family and self put before them and seen the damage done.
You have beliefs that are your own and I have no issue with that.

Im glad I live in America. But I'm far from being proud of it. I really never cared in the first place, and I do not like to have things like the pledge of allegiance shoved down my throat everywhere I go.

I mean I don't really care, just like I don't really care about Christmas parades and the like. You do you.
I just don't understand why one would be proud of things that they had no hand in. I didn't choose my country, gender, sexual orientation, race, etc... so I'm not proud of them. I'm not ashamed... most of the time, but I'm not proud either.

No, and it's dumb to be prideful of where you happened to fall out of a vagina.
With that said, I am grateful of the opportunities my circumstances have afforded me. Regardless, there are probably at least 30 other countries I could have been born to the same parents and had as much success and privilege.
I'm just not nationalistic anymore. The whole concept seems weird to me and unnatural. Without politicians, we'd all probably get along pretty well.

Hell yes.
I spent last night (all night) in a hospital with my 4 year old grandson while he got some stitches from a fall he had. Just a few, but in his lip, so a plastic surgeon did the stitches.
Took awhile, but I was damn thankful to be in the greatest country in the world, with first world, world class medical treatment readily available. There are thousands (millions?) of small children who die of simple infections all the time. We are blessed in this country.
I was also struck by the fact that probably 70 percent of the people in the ER were non-American. The staff almost all spoke spanish. I have no issue with this. Hurt kids are hurt kids, but I am pretty sure those folks are glad they live in the greatest country on the planet.

It was awesome here. 62 degrees, bluebird sky. Went hiking with some elevation today, I'm pretty sore tonight.

Native Americans disagree. Regardless, I think some are just over the whole concept of empires and nations. There is a better way to coexist than this archaic system. I won't live to see it but am hopeful it will come to fruition in the future.
