Hell no. I love the ignorance and delusion that's spewed there all day. It's great comic relief.

Ignore it all you want, but America is getting the death penalty this November with this election. I'm still amazed it got to the point where these were our two options for president.

Agree 100%. The fact that these are our options speaks to our decline as a society.

Now some of her staffmembers (her spokeswoman) are talking badly about religious people.

that's because the media is willfully ignoring the emails. the problem is that many people like apparently you trust the media...

People have forgotten that political discussion does not have to be about proving yourself right or wrong. It has to be as much about understanding the other side THEN finding a common ground.

This. This is where I need to be. I tried the Poli Board. Just wow. So many there honestly believe I shouldn't be allowed to vote! And they think they're mainstream and represent the majority of the country. I just find myself saying WOW.

I've posted less and less over there recently, it's not even fun to troll anymore. I consistently fall to the right of center on the majority of issues but that place has turned into a pack of rabid far right wing animals foaming at the mouth and completely incapable of rational discussion. It's the kind of thing that makes the GOP so easy to mock in the media, that board fits nearly every right wing media caricature. There is so much vitriolic anger directed towards minorities, immigrants, liberals and even moderate conservatives.

Not at all. I still post there a little. It's just not a place to go if you want to actually discuss the election rationally.

Exactly. There's not much intelligent, or even rational, discourse.

Moderates? They hate actual conservatives over there too! They hate anyone who doesn't believe in their Cheeto Jesus using expansive government power. They don't believe in the Constitution, small government, fiscal responsibility, or individual rights any more. They have substituted their values for the Cult of Personality.

They don't want a president, they want a King, and they believe Trump will give them the Kingdom they want.

Very well put. And no dissent or differing opinion is tolerated.

Nope, they have become essentially SJW's for jingoistic xenophobia, protectionism, and nationalism gone horribly wrong.

They have become just like the insipid fanboys the once lampooned, who swooned like teenage girls over their first black president. Now, like a cheerleader with her seventeen magazine, they stare dreamily at their idol and dream about how he's going to make everything wonderful.

They have tuned out the real world, the real challanges, and have instead drunkin deep from the well of nostalgia, happily remenescing about a golden age which only existed in their imaginations.

There is no one man who can fix our problems. Only we, ourselves, can fix our problems, yet still, they worship at the alter of their tropicana demigod. All who oppose are cucks.

They don't realize that they are the real cucks because they allow a man who has admitted to playing them all for fools, manipulate them, and tricked them into now rebuffing the values they once espoused, in exchange for promises which will never be delevered. Don't worry, he still loves you. That abusive husband is going to stop beating you and cheating on you for real this time! He's changed!

Exactly. I am not a Hillary fan, and always said I could never vote for her. I'm a moderate independent, probably lean right more than left. But this guy is a charlatan. A snake-oil salesman. A xenophobe who's selling a bill of goods, that there is someone responsible for your problems (a plethora of options: the government, democrats, republicans, minorities, Muslims, etc.) and that only he can fix it. I have an innate distrust of people who talk that way. The problems are far too complex to be explained in his soundbites.

His "willful disregard" (their words, not mine) of US intelligence briefings regarding Russian hacking and interference in this election scare me. Intelligence source say they've been briefing both candidates weekly since August and given them info regarding this, and he's not only ignored it, he's publicly stated in the debates that it's not happening. Because that feeds right into his base - the government can't be trusted. When behind the scenes, Republican members of Congress have been pushing Obama for a stronger response to what they perceive as Russian aggression, their candidate for President is publicly denying that it's happening. Don't get me wrong, I don't have much trust for the government. But I don't think they would put the country into harm's way by hyping a false narrative on such a big issue.

When I can go 4 hours without lurking and still see the entire board with brand new threads, that is a problem.

All of this, and I'll add that their delusion is bred solely from their hatred of Obama and the Clintons. They can't see past that sheer hatred to objectively look at the candidate they support.

Most of the Hillary supporters there acknowledge her mistakes and shortcomings. Most of the Trump supporters see his mistakes and shortcomings as positives.

Hell most don't even acknowledge his mistakes, they just deflect to blaming Clinton.

note every liberal uses this type of rhetoric, pretend to be republican or moderate but then dive right into standard democrat talking points about how racist GOP is
