If GP got forced out because of the nonsense I assume the whole staff is gone. If not, is it too quick to give to Odom? Do we lose Kul? I'd bet he's definitely gone.

So now where do we turn?

Have to hire Odom. Promote KuL to DC.

It's our only option.

If they promote him and give him a fat raise then I don't see why not.

Pinkel told AD Mack Rhoades about his diagnosis in May. Rhoades has known since Oct. 28 that GP wasn't coming back next year. (per Matter)

So we should have a guy lined up.

I think you are right and I'm not sure that's not what Pinkel was thinking.

Hard to say if Odom and Kul like each other, according to a veiled reference Matter made yesterday when he was asked if Odom left would kul go with him.

Unless that happens D-line Zou is over. Odom will go to Memphis as head coach and Kul will be wooed by the NFL as an oline coach.

Except the problem is now that no good coach will take this job. Our best shot is with Odom.

This isn't going to go on forever. A few months down the road this will be a blip on the radar.

I hope.

Why has no one suggested Henson or Ricker?

You think your day sucks? those two are for sure looking for a new job.

The AD has a guy lined up already I bet.

We are still SEC and we have a solid QB in place.

Unfortunately it is going to take us several years to recover from this. Every school out there recruiting against us will use this against us. Plus this is all over the internet. Lots of parents won't let their kids go to MU.

Boosters should never threaten not to support a football program....they sure didn't do that at Ole Miss. Real fans support the university/athletics no matter what.

When Ole Miss banned the confederate flag, changed their mascot...I promise you their big time boosters were pissed....and you know the confederate flag is important to that state, history etc....They didn't get all pissy and stop supporting their team(full of blacks), turn back on coach, want school officials gone. They sucked it up and SUPPORTED the university/football team. People didn't transfer because of PC bullshite, they sucked it up!! Mississippi State was considering not letting STATE FLAG fly on campus, people didn't stop going to games, they still supported those colored football players....Called LOYALTY.

Maybe things are that bad up there in Columbia...
