Promote DC Barry Odom to HC.
Promote DL coach Craig Kuligowski to DC.
Makeover the offensive side of the staff to Odom's liking.

Pinkel becomes the Whitey Herzog / Dick Vermiel / Papa Emeritus of the Mizzou football family.

Blow the roof off the SEC East you motherfrickers!!

I don't think we can interview or promote anyone until Johnathan Butler gives us the list of candidates.

Richt would be an outstanding hire.

He's definitely out in Georgia?

They seem pretty pissed.

If he loses to Auburn, I think anything's possible. He probably has another year, though.

Mack did hire him to Houston....perhaps he can bring him to an SEC program too.

You hate to see it under these circumstances, but this is the opportunity to make the staff over to SEC standards.

Being realistic, Odom is (probably) the man for the job.

He's a Mizzou guy. Built in-roads into the mid-South through his time at Memphis. All he needs to do is retain the best of the Pinkel staff and blend in some assistants with a bonafide SEC pedigree.

I'm generally a glass 3/4's full guy, but I think if it's done right this could be a great next chapter of MU football.

That combined with the fact that Mack knew Gary was leaving Oct 28th...

And knew of the health issue since May, if what I read was correct.

From what I've heard, the staff didn't know until 45 minutes before the statement was released.

Butler's SJW people are currently in segregated groups planning another attack on a spineless staff member.

He'll have an approved list to the AD at this time next year. Just in time.

The strength of this team in the SEC has been defense.

Keeping it together has to be the top priority.

Damn i wish I had his email. He probably made it private in the Mizzou directory. I'd give him a peace of my mind. But he'll probably sue me for harassment.

Mack could have a good chance for his guy in Houston because of the relationship. Good year to lose half the current recruits. if we can keep Strong, Taylor and a few others, we'll be fine and we probably will if we dont hire a replacement until January.

Then of course Odom is gone to memphis and who knows about Kul being offered a DC job. I wonder if he regrets not going to illinois now.

otherwise Odom is our best bet. he'll gut the offensive coaches for sure.

Ricker and Henson must be sweating bullets about right now.

And btw I don't agree the events of the last few weeks are going to hurt Mizzou athletics in the least. They'll get this shite straightened out, may even be a good thing for the long term. The only people who seem overly pissed about it are the conservative whackjobs worrying over the downtrodden unjust plight of the white man. They've had it so hard in the last couple of weeks.
