You're right about that. In the past, they typically do get a commit or two or more right around their Junior Day. I look at the list and I have no clue who it might be. I'm sure they're there. I just don't know who.

My very early glance, it looks like the position we need to fill the least is the position peaks my interest the most...RB.
Taylor kid at Rockhurst.
Bryant kid at CBC.
Kentrail Moran, a 4* RB over in O'Fallon IL.
I assume we'll take at least a couple of RB's again in this class. Would like to get at least 1 of these three. 2 would be better unless they have an in on someone else out of state.

I'm actually a bit worried about this class tbh. The talent level in state looks to be unusually low (I think we've only offered 1 in state kid so far) and the majority of the guys that are here are RB/CB types. Taylor, Bryant, Cambell, Anderson

Certainly seems that way instate.
I think there are a few guys that have had some decent early interest.
The Powell kid (OL) up in Hannibal.
I'm curious about the Minniefield (DT) kid in KC. Some reason that last name is familiar to me.
Thompson (QB) in KC.
Garrett (LB) I think in KC area as well.

The other thing I noticed was that there seems to be a ton more offers out to Texas kids than the entirety of last year. Coaches must have some relationships with some kids coming through there this year. I wouldn't be surprised to see more commits from Texas, though 1 would technically be more than this past class.

If the kid's a legit OT prospect, I hope we get him.
As Charlie Spoonhour used to say, "I wasn't my wife's first choice either".
In fact, I'll take any legit ESL prospect who wants to come and hope TBJ becomes our Drew Lock advocate recruiter for future ESL kids. If we could get even a shadow of #DLineZou going with the OLine, Mizzou could sustain this thing well beyond Pinkel.

I could be wrong but I don't see TBJ as that type of guy. Strong and Taylor are though.

Typically, we get 1 or 2 commits at Jr. Day each year. Any word on anyone who might commit on Saturday or Sunday to get this class rolling?

I was actually thinking the same thing as I was typing it. lulz
Guess I'm hoping for the strong, silent / example type that draws them in.
In truth, Darren Sunkett might be our best ESL advocate.
