So after I left the Swamp, I thought simply, no more.

I've somewhat defended him this year, this broke me.

Stop the bushit injury and suspension excuses. I can handle being out manned because of that, but not out coached.

Want well coached. Watch Georgia. That team will win a title, and soon. Want shite coaching, watch UF. End of story.

Malik Davis, our best weapon , barely used. No Qb development, insanely bad clock management, inconsistent pacing on offense, no surprise blitzes, no one can tackle.

This TEAM IS COACHED HORRIBLY. SCREW SUSPENSIONS, SCREW INJURIES. END OF DAY, THEY DON'T EXCUSE THE ERRORS.

Fire him. He has no chance here, because he just isn't that good. Kirby is about to rape him for years. Now we will be FSU and Georgia's whipping boy till we get rid of this average coach.

Winning the East means nothing, especially when it was down. Get him out, my patience is done. You can't fix the offense, can't control your locker room, and can't fire your buddies Nord and Nuss.

UF will never be more than a ten win max team under Mac. frick him. Get out,

Why don't you make an appointment with UFs AD and discuss your intelligent, rational thoughts with him? I'm sure he would be receptive.

Mac is our HC through 2018....deal wit it. If we suck in 2018 then I will hold the door open for him to leave.

No they won't, and no they're not. Kirby has had some extreme fortune:

1. He took in two 5* running backs who both came back for their senior season.

2. He took in tons of 5* talent at quarterback.

3. He took in several 5* receivers.

All he had to do was come in and run the ball -- and he couldn't even do that last year. If we had half the firepower that he had when he took over Georgia we'd be undefeated.

This offense is making a pair of 3* freshmen look like rockstars.

We are absolutely short handed because of the suspensions. The frustrating thing about yesterday was, even though we've been playing with one hand tied behind our back and without our three best offensive players, we STILL were the better team and should've beaten them. And we didn't.

Missing those 15 guys due to injury and suspension is not an excuse. It's real. Regardless, there's no excuse to losing to teams we're better than. And we're better than LSU.

It's more than three top offensive weapons:

LDR injured.

Callaway gone.

Scarlett gone.

Cleveland hurt.

Not many teams are successful with their #1 QB, #1 WR, #2 WR and #1 RB out of the game. That's fricking rough to overcome. It's not impossible, and the game yesterday wasn't -- but Goddamn that ain't easy.

Dude stfu. Smart has gotten 3 5* QBs to commit or sign with him, multiple top 0L with 5* starting, and Salyer on the way, 5* Hardeman at WR. 5* star Zamir on the way with Holyfield looking good. He's also recruiting lights out on defense. Nothing was given to him. Kirby put the staff in place to recruit and he's killing it. Luck is something happening once. Like winning the lottery. When it keeps happening it's called a trend. Kirby went 8-5 last year and every single class he's signed will be ahead of Mac's as a HC. The reason why we don't have half the talent as UGA is because Mac can't get it here. Even if he had UGAs roster he wouldn't know how-to use it. This team has talent, especially on O. It doesn't have coaching. ETA: forgot 5* RB Swift Kirby signed.

Anyone saying Smart won't win is just proving they don't know football.

He is an elite recruiter, and his team has shown the fundamentals of a well coached team. They play disciplined football, don't beat themselves, they dictate the pace, and they don't miss tackles. Its just good football, and he will win a lot there.

We have bad coaching. One game in three years we saw great coaching. ONE frickING GAME. He is a bad coach who can only beat those he outtalents. Mac sucks. End of story. Its amazing how much you guys can accept this. This is BAD FOOTBALL. Injuries don't excuse three years of no line development, they don't excuse his incredibly BAD defensive recruiting, they don't excuse his lack of pace on offense, they don't excuse his crap GB development, they don't excuse his terrible time management, they don't excuse his lack of trust to try to win the game, you coach them, you recruited them, no excuses moron, WIN WITH THEM. Del Rio sucks. He isn't an excuse.

Its really funny. Moronic homers blame Meyer for off the field issues, but players for Macs off the field issues. Weird how that works.

Goddamn, get his cock out of your mouth.

The problem at Georgia was not recruiting.

They had, on average, the 8th class in the nation for the past 5 years.

He lost to Vanderbilt his first year.

Vanderbilt. Want to take a crack at the difference in recruiting over the past five years from Georgia to Vanderbilt?

I would be more worried about losing to Vanderbilt with a 5* quarterback, 5* running back, NFL tight end and an offensive line with twice the starts and seniority of McElwain's first year with a four star receiving corps -- than being worried about not having a good offense after losing your #1 Receiver, #1 QB, #2 Receiver #1 Running back.

He lost to Vanderbilt. Outcoached by Mason.

Got his shite pushed in by an Ole Miss team that didn't bowl.

He did that with incredible recruiting classes.

This year: He has gotten business done, it's not hard with how amazing Richt recruited. Two completely different jobs, and Smart had a lot of pieces already in place.

First year. Saban went 6-6. First year is always a bad one. Like I said, should try watching football a bit more. Meyer got blown out twice his first year here. Then dominated. Take off your absurd blinders, you have always been a blind homer on here. Georgia is a budding monster. Florida is screwed. Mac needs to be gone. He just isn't a good coach. He is weak, soft, and scared to make changes. We need a cocky coach again. One that doesn't sound more and more like Butch Jones every loss. I want anger. I want accountability. I want a alpha male running our team. Meyer and Spurrier were alphas. Take no shite, give no mercy. Run it up, beat down our rivals, and make us the hated team that everyone is sick of losing too.

No one's saying that.

Georgia has recruited elite for the last 5 years. It's not new to Georgia.

Lmfao.

On Offense: Give it to your senior five star NFL back and tell him to run forward, when he's tired, give it to his senior five star backup! Whoa! Fundamentals, man!

On Defense: He doesn't have a single player that's his. On defense he's got, counting:

7 Seniors starting.

3 Juniors.

1 Sophomore.

They have as many seniors starting on defense as we do Freshman playing in the secondary alone. Amazing! He can get a blue chip laden defense to tackle pretty well. Color me shocked.

Just for perspective, we're starting on offense and defense:

Florida:

8 Freshmen

8 Sophomores

6 Juniors

2 Seniors (Counting Nickelback/Y Receivers)

Georgia:

3 Freshmen

2 Sophomores

7 Juniors

11 Seniors

Really, guys, you can praise Smart all you want -- but anyone could run that team. That team might be able to run itself. 18 starting upperclassmen vs. our 8.

I'm just here to see how the conversation shapes up, but to drive this thing forward...

LINK

From before the season regarding blue chip ratio (percentage of roster made up of 4-5* talent):

quote:

Kirby Smart inherited a good Georgia roster from Mark Richt, but his first two classes are humming at 74 percent, while Richt’s final two were at 53. It’s not yet known if Smart can coach, but Georgia’s talent is being upgraded.

More bullshite excuses. Smart has out recruited Richt in just 2 years. Richt got talent but not this much and balanced on both sides of the ball. The reason why so many freshman are playing is because the 2016 defensive class sucked balls and Scarlett got suspended.
Most of these sophomores have play a lot of games. The DL has 3 Jr's and a SR. The LB Corp has 3 sophomores playing who you said would be great because they played a ton. The secondary has DUke and Washington. The RB unit is the strength of the offense. The WRs suck without Cleveland. TE has 3 RS Jrs and the OL has a ton of games under its belt. Starting 2 Jrs, a SO who's started 15+ games and McCoy who's played a ton. Frank's not being ready is on Mac. He's been in the system 2 years. Josh Jackson looks great at Va Tech, Milton looks great at UCF, Washington St just beat USC with a fricking walk on at QB. Winning NCs involves great recruiting and coaching. We have neither.

Clayton-buried on depth chart. Bust to this point.
Gardner- great corner, sucks at S.
Moon- contributes but is too slow for LB imo.
Smith-suspended
Taylor- ST player
Reese- Stud
Joseph- good player, needs consistency
Burnett-ST player
Lenton-ST player
Putu- ST player
Polite- awesome DE

4/11 have made positive contributions on defense. That's bad.
0 DTs signed.

So Kirby and Mac inherited the same amount of BC talent . Yet Kirby has increased UGAs BC talent to 2x as much as UFs 74% to 37%. That's including Mac beating UGA and making the seccg twice. Mac sucks so bad.

Not even close, chill.
I like our position going forward against UG and Kirby, he just fell into a gold mine this year. Fsucks and Bama have our number right now but they have been beating everyone else too so don't feel special, but that will change.
We need to continue to recruit better and it will work out. The suspensions, injuries have hurt depth this year but we are getting playing experience for a lot of young players which will help in the future.
