alot more of "uh" and "um". which is odd. he didn't even play last week, and he seems defeated.

I'm not sure what the issue is?

He said multiple times that his family was safe, the coaches and their families were safe, the players were safe, and the players' families were safe.
I can understand feeling distraught for the state, but at the end of the day, he's a professional, and he didn't act like a professional in that press conference.
And with Lyle fricking Jones as the coach of my team, I know a thing or 2 about bad press conferences.

He sounded to me like a guy that had been up for about 48 hours with minimal sleep, had no power in his own home up until a few minutes before the press conference, had the responsibility of ensuring the safety of 100+ players, his entire staff, grad assistants, trainers, and all of their families, and had a huge football game coming up on Saturday.
Yeah, he sounded exhausted. Understandably so. I'm going to cut him some slack for seeming a little tired during a Wednesday press conference. I'll have less "slack" for him on Saturday, especially with a loss or bad performance, but Jesus Christ, cut him some slack today.

Him sounding like he wanted to off himself. That was depressing to watch. They asked him if he was exhausted or tired and he changed the subject. He could've said yes and everyone would've been fine with it. Watch Jimbo, Strongs, Richt, Frost, Kiffin or Davis PCs and tell me if they look like they should be on suicide watch. Anyone who goes to this great of length to defend a HC who is hurting the program isn't a real fan IMO. He chose Nuss over the program. We all should be pissed at Mac.

I mean we can all be bitches and complain constantly, when not a single person on this board has the power to do anything about McElwain's job. Or we can watch the fricking season and then bitch when he's not fired if they don't close the season up to expectation.
