Alabama cheating again. What’s new.

Probable worst case based on what is in the public arena is Alabama loses Colin Sexton
I'd melt. How many programs have had two 5-stars locked down, only to lose them in the last second.
Even Pollard ended up leaving after 1 year.

No worries for AU and UA... the NCAA will investigate and render a decision.
In Spring of 2022.
In Spring of 2022.

On a serious note, without having read through the thread, can someone unbiased give me a rundown on what’s going on? Is Alabama fricked, like Auburn, or not?
Basically, just a small amount of this:
Some of this:
A little of this:
A lot of this:

So throw everything you were saying yesterday when it pertained to Auburn out the window...
Never change...

I'm of the opinion that a coach with the history of Pearl would not be retained because of the negative reflection it would have on Auburn as an institution. You obviously are looking at it differently...so be it.
This is hilarious. Quite the change of tune.

This is the best comment I have read in weeks on this board.

Reread my posts on the subject. My direction was/is one of what Auburn should do about their situation with Pearl. The guy's already got a huge shite stain on his reputation and Auburn took, and is continuing to take, a hit for hiring him. If there is ANY chance that he was complicit, even remotely, I don't see how Auburn would allow for the "stoning" they'd take from the rest of the world....or maybe they would......it wouldn't be their first rodeo.

If he has anything to do with it then he is gone.
There won't be any "stoning" of Auburn if Pearl has nothing to do with it. I don't know how true it is, but our president gave an interview to ESPN the other day. He talked about how the FBI stressed this had nothing to do with any other individuals, and that Chuck was a lone actor.

and said Auburn was the victim.

With Pearl's history, I suspect that there needs to be a solid statement from the FBI to that effect, or you're gonna have another Cam & Daddy situation on your hands.....but hell, y'all weathered that, so....as I said, this won't be y'all's first rodeo.

While true, the FBI determines blame and victims based on law. They don't care about NCAA rules.
The NCAA will investigate and determine if AU should or could have known. The best thing AU has going for it is the illegal actions were not intended to benefit the team or school. At this point it apperears to be the contrary. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
