In Louisiana you can carry a pistol in your vehicle without needing a concealed carry permit. As Tim Williams just learned, doing the same thing in Alabama gets you arrested.
Think that may play into why you haven't heard about any LSU players?

100% this. yes, school shootings happen. but you are 1000x safer on a college campus than most other places in this country. i think a lot of these football players who grew up in high crime areas have it ingrained in their subconscious that they need to be carrying for safety at all times.

so basically any random act of violence could be cured by less strict gun laws? you think a tourist would have brought his gun with him from California? Tourists have always been easy targets for criminals. Nashville is becoming one of the bigger tourist cities in the country. TN, by the way, doesn't exactly have liberal gun laws.

Yes, because he looked any different to the people standing outside his car when the gun was under his seat... THE most common place for people to actually carry a gun in a vehicle..... With that said, I keep mine wedged between my driver seat and my middle console. I dont even have to reach.
