What were his off the field issues?
Don't hold your breath waiting on a link.
Now hear-say, yeah you'll get plenty of that.
He doesn't have off the field issues. He is a pro-style QB who doesn't fit the ball-hander-offer who can run needs of Les Miles.

People were saying he had off field issues long before he committed anywhere. Again why else do you think nobody offered him in the SEC outside of you and Kentucky?

Dude you've been here long enough to know that this board forgets nothing.

Again, I've literally never seen someone bring up something from years ago CONSTANTLY every time that person posts. That's just flat out pathetic. I could repost tons of dumb shite dale has said, but like 99% of people, I dont hang onto every word someone says.

True. And I firmly believe we would've handled that Ohio state team. They were not very impressive to me

P&G penis envy from every pig in this thread. It's rather embarrassing for y'all.

Yes, we are extremely envious of LSU's depth chart at QB.
That's it.
That's it.

That's an odd reason to not go after an elite talent in one's own back yard.
Elite talent? The kid hasn't played a down of college football.
Another idiot in this thread said he's a future NFL'er.
So LSU missed on him (which as Dale said shouldn't be a surprise) but so did just about every other power 5 school.
Arkansas has had one better season than LSU in the past decade. Beating LSU can't be the standard for you guys. It just can't be. That sounds miserable.

Les only likes dual threat quaterbacks who can perfect the toss dive. If we recruit a flat footer, then we won't be able to run the read option twice a game
We have Pro Style passing QB's Myles Brennan and Zadock Dinkelmann coming up in 2017 and 18.
May be too little, too late though because Miles is on a very short leash this season with very little wiggle room and margin for error..................

For the same reason some of the other kids we have signed haven't been offered by major schools.
Bert's assessment of them said they were worth a scholarship.
That's the same assessment that has allowed Bert to improve his record every year he's been here. The same assessment that has helped us land kids not offered by LSU that have helped us have a 2 game winning streak. Which reminds me, thanks again for giving us your scraps to beat you with :)

I am not looking through 6 pages of crap to see if anyone actually answered your question. It was one of timeline for LSU. LSU had committed for almost two yrs one of the top QB's in the class in Felipe Franks as well as a couple of well ranked potential second QB's. When LSU hit its 3 game skid late last season and Miles looked like BBQ the Gators swooped in and took him away. By that late time in the recruiting season, most of the top 60 QBs in the country were committed and LSU was screwed...

To the surprise of no one, it hadn't been answered honestly yet. Thanks for shedding some light on the LSU side.

Thanks.
That's actually a reasonable post.
Basically, Les Miles isn't a very good coach.

He's the second best coach in the SEC behind Saban if we're using team success as a measuring stick.

LSU tried to fire him last season.

By the same measure the same could have been said about Mack Brown at Texas.
Both had similar records.
Both annually whiffed on QB recruitment and development.
LSU better hope they can attract a better replacement or they two will decline into irrelevance.

Coaching success is defined by the winner of one game per hog fans. Nothing else matters.

Lol okay? Does that change the fact that he's won 2 SEC championships and a national championship?
