Cole Kelly is chad Kelly's brother...

LSU's reasons not to recruit Kelly had nothing to do with football.
Of course because Les prefers the character issues to show after they are on campus like kicking a defenseless war hero in the head while he lay on the ground.

I'll be shocked if he lasts at Arkansas more than a year. All the talent in the world - but the kid's got so many off the field issues. I grew up close to their family so no BS.

Congrats on landing the goon of a notorious b&e gang?

miles is racist against white qb's. if i were a white qb, i would not go to lsu as long as miles is there.

Thanks for the warning.
Sorry he had the talent and you did not.

That's an odd reason to not go after an elite talent in one's own back yard.
I mean, they clearly didn't have these same standards when Tyranne Mathieu (however the hell you spell that) played there.

Perrileux, team vote, Jefferson, etc.
None of these guys had known character issues while in HS, all caught Les completely off-guard by their sinful actions while at LSU.

When is the last time Arkansas had a better season than LSU lol? 2006?
LSU beat you that year, which one would you rather

So we ask why lsu didn't recruit someone (to brag) then get mad and cry when the answer is he is a criminal? Poor things.

What about the year they lost to Ohio state in the sugar bowl. But still only having a better season than us once a decade is laughable

Bielema said Kelley might be the best QB he has ever signed. Enos is infatuated with him too. Good chance he starts year after next when Allen leaves. I was pretty surprised to see him battling for the #2 spot already over so many highly ranked guys.
He's pretty raw but you can't teach his size and arm strength.
Kelly has the upside, but with his past in Louisiana, he likely wanted to leave out as soon as possible and I doubt Miles would want to take a risk on that. He has a cannon, decent mobility, and has a huge build. I liken him a bit to Paxton Lynch.
ETA: He's going to need about 2 years before he is ready to play though.

The Arkansas obsession with LSU is pathetic.

You are right, though I consider that season more of a wash. Both 10-2 regular season, LSU finishes 11-2 ark 10-3 though they had the better bowl matchup.
Man I just had flashbacks of Karnell Hatcher at safety

That would be my guess too. Austin Allen will be the starter for the next two seasons and then, assuming no one has transferred, Kelly and Ty Storey or Conner Noland will battle it out to be the starter in 2018.

I live in Lafayette and have been asking the same thing for 2 years. His off the field issues were bad luck, wrong place wrong time, shite many of us could have gotten caught up in as a 16 year old.
I fear he is going to haunt LSU.

What were his off the field issues? I don't know much about him.
Also anytime anyone gets in trouble they obviously were at the wrong place at the wrong time. For every time caught doing anything there are plenty of times you weren't caught.
I can understand wrong place wrong time for a specific instance, but how many times until it's simply he has off the field issues lol.
